Our fall protection systems

Working at heights represents the biggest risk of mishap, warranting adequate security and protection. At Udyogi, our fall protection line has been created with the objective to minimize associated risks. Their quality is enhanced (and thereafter standardized) through the use of PLC controlled automated processes. These products are critically tested as a result of which their efficacy has now been proven across the construction, mining, oil rigging, utilities, defence and telecommunication industries.

SETTLING FOR THE RIGHT FALL PROTECTION

The hierarchy of fall protection
"There is a suitable surface I can work from, but there is an unprotected edge close to where I would be working" - Scaffold erector

Choose work restraint.
If it is necessary to work at a height, try to make sure that a suitable working surface is available, which prevents the individual from being exposed to a situation where a fall inevitable (use safe working platforms or restraint equipment)

"The surface I need to work from might collapse. I need additional support to stabilize myself or move around" - Tower climber

Choose work positioning
If a suitable surface is not available, you may need to consider using personal fall protection equipment for additional support and positioning.

"There is an unprotected edge close to where I would be working, and it is not possible to use restraint or positioning equipment" - Maintenance worker

Choose fall arrest
If it is not possible to completely prevent people from being exposed to the risk of a fall, use the fall arrest equipment. If fall arrest is the chosen method, select the equipment, which will minimize the distance and consequence of a fall and ensure that rescue equipment is available.

Above all, the working method should only be chosen after considering the risks involved.

CATERING TO YOUR INDUSTRY-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT

Personal fall-protection system

A personal fall-protection system is an assembly of components to protect the user against fall from a height. It includes a body-holding device connected to a reliable anchor.

This section presents a wide range of high-quality, ready-to-use fall-protection system, adapted to the requirements of technical industries involving work at a height.

A technical hamess is typically at the core of each system. Different industries have varied requirements on how a harness should function.

These advance working kits are specifically designed to make the user’s job easier by being comfortable, easy to adjust and fully compatible with other elements.

Individual components also have high technical and performance characteristics in terms of strength and durability.

The resulting systems are exceptional.

  • General fall arrest
  • Tower climbing and rigging
  • Climbing pylons
  • Roof safety
  • Rope access
